Since I go many weeks without picking up my camera I figured something needed to be done about it. I have no illusions that I will actually do this ever day but I'll at least give it a try. Who knows, maybe I'll learn something along the way, or you might learn something about me.

There are no set rules for me to do this but I'll force myself to be in at least some of the photos since I'm never in any pictures.

If you saw this post you'd know that this is packed for my fridge. I went to the Oak Park Farmers Market today and picked up some produce. It's some good stuff. The brown bag is Crimini mushrooms, not leftovers. I thought it was kind of interesting that we got the second to last quart of jalapenos. I guess since the salmonella scare with jalapenos people are buying them locally now. Time to go to sleep. Yes it's 11:30AM but I once again stayed out too late and am suffering the consequences by sleeping through my day off.

These just clog your arteries looking at them don't they? BG fries! Butter Garlic fries for those not familiar with Sub Tender in Forest Park. Oh so good!

Time to go to the grocery store. I'm hungry.

Just another day. I went out and picked up some Mexican food. Steak quesadillas to be exact. I've been eating pretty hot stuff for a while now and will miss the hot home cooked Mexican food I was getting for lunch at my old job. There are a couple places I go that are good but none even come close to Lucha's home made food.

Happy 4th of July! Good food, drinks, and friends.

OK, so I've been slacking at the Dailies this last week. Most of the pictures I took last week were on my p/s and I forgot to pack the cord for it so I posted all last weeks shots tonight. Well actually this morning, I really need to go to sleep. If you want to see all I put up start here and go forward until you get to today, 2008-06-30.

Today is the first day of my last week at my current job. It's going to be an incredibly long short week. That doesn't make any sense does it? Well it's a short week because Friday is the 4th of July and I have off so that makes it a 4 day work week. But for those 4 days I'm going to have to work 14 hours a day. And to top it all off I'll be working on the printers for part of the day because my old boss is on vacation so I get to pick up his slack :D. It's not so bad though. I'll miss this place when I'm gone.

Today we were free to do whatever we pleased. So that meant driving up the coast through San Francisco to a lighthouse on Point Reyes and back. Schmoo, Andy, Ian and I jumped in Andy's rented convertible with the top down in 60-70 degree cloudy and foggy weather and made the best of the day. The shooting was terrible and Schmoo and I froze our butts off but it was still a lot of fun with that group of friends. I'm sure I'll be back plenty of times to get my photo of the bridge and a decent sunset over the ocean.

Schmoo and I finally went out for Sushi tonight. The place we went was small and had good food and sake. I tried the sake sampler and all three were quite good. So far Schmoo and I have had Sushi together in three different states on the East coast, West coast, and Midwest. I wonder if we can find a place for sushi in Utah on this years SmugMug shootout?

Today we got painted as Support Hero's. Then we were paraded through Mountain View going out for Lunch and Dinner. Lunch wasn't so bad, the kids at Sweet Tomatoe's got a smile out of our faces but dinner was interesting. Walking down Castro Street at 7PM with a blue face get's more than a couple interesting stares.
